Conditions

If you would like to read more about a condition you have and how we can help please select from the below options.

Low Back Pain and Sciatica

Back pain is the most common complaint seen by Chiropractors with most people suffering one or more episodes of back pain during their lifetime. Back pain can be extremely painful, debilitating and persistent, often resulting in lost days at work and severe loss of function.

Back pain affects everything; your sleep, your mood, your activity level, even your ability to sit comfortably at work or in your car. One in three adults suffer from back pain in the UK today, so the chances that you or someone you know is suffering with back pain right now is very high. Fortunately, chiropractic care can often provide the natural relief you have been looking for!

There are many different types of back pain – from strains of muscles/joints/ligaments, and nerve problems such as sciatica. Successful treatment starts with identifying the correct cause. The majority of people with back pain suffer from ‘mechanical’ back pain. Often resulting from recurrent strains, until something finally fails and causes an injury.

At Chase Chiropractic Clinic we address the underlying cause of your pain, not just your symptoms, so you can look forward to a future free from back pain. If you or one of your family suffers from this condition, whether it is lower back pain or mid back pain, please call us to book an initial consultation today.

Neck Pain

Neck pain is very common, with many people thinking the need to rub, massage or stretch – to ease those aches – the normal thing!

Neck pain is particularly common as the tissues and structures of the neck are very susceptible to stiffness, tightness, discomfort and pain. This often can be felt on one or both sides of the neck, in the base of the skull and into the shoulders. It can be a sharp or dull pain and can spread as far as the arm and hand, even into the fingers – where tightness, numbness and tingling can be felt.

The great thing about chiropractic is that we treat the cause of your neck pain, not just the symptom. The lifestyle of many of us nowadays places so much pressure on the neck.

At Chase Chiropractic Clinic we address the underlying cause of your pain, not just your symptoms, so you can look forward to a future free from neck pain. If you or one of your family suffers from this condition, whether it is neck pain or shoulder pain, please call us to book an initial consultation today.

Put your health in safe hands.

Headaches and Migraines

Headaches can often be classified as primary or secondary. Primary headaches are the most common type and these include:

Tension Headaches
These often radiate from the muscles in the back and neck and can feel like wearing a tight hat or having an elastic band wrapped around the head. Typically a constant headache that can last for hours and interrupt your daily life.

Cluster Headaches
These headaches are extremely painful and debilitating, often accompanied with vomiting. Care can help some people achieve a lesser frequency or intensity of the attacks.

Migraines
This common type of headache, which can vary in intensity and symptoms affects many people. Some often experience auras during these headaches which can include tingling, numbness, photophobia, flashing lines and vomiting, amongst others.

When headaches start impacting upon our everyday lives, it is time to seek help in identifying the cause. Headaches are often a symptom of an underlying problem, which with the right help can be identified and treated.

Headaches that have contributions from the neck have been shown to respond very well to chiropractic. The condition is often rooted in the cervical spine and nervous system, which is precisely what chiropractic adjustments improve.

The next time you feel a headache, instead of reaching for the painkillers, consider reaching for your telephone and giving us a call.

At Chase Chiropractic Clinic we address the underlying cause of your pain, not just your symptoms, so you can look forward to a future free from headaches. If you or one of your family suffer from these conditions, please call us to book an initial consultation today.

Shoulder Pain/Frozen Shoulder

Pain in your shoulder can be due to problems from the neck, shoulder girdle, the attaching muscles of the rotator cuff and their tendons, the local bursa or irritation of nerves that travel to and through the arm.

The shoulder joint is amazing! It allows us to create change in the world with our hands. But it is not until you have an episode of shoulder pain that you realise just how involved the joint is. Activities from washing our hair, cuddling our loved ones, sport, changing the gear in the car or holding the steering wheel can become so painful we think there will never be an end to the problem.

At Chase Chiropractic Clinic we address the underlying cause of your pain, not just your symptoms, so you can look forward to a future free from shoulder pain. If you or one of your family suffers from this condition, please call us to book an initial consultation today.

Sports Chiropractic

Our definition of an athlete is anyone that enjoys being active. If you enjoy walking, biking, running, golf, tennis, yoga, lifting weights, walking the dog/cat, playing with your children or grandchildren, you are an athlete. At some point, your body will need help keeping up with the “speed of life” and Chase Chiropractic Clinic wants to keep you moving.

There are good reasons why an athlete should seek a sports chiropractor for the treatment and rehabilitation of a sports injury. We have a comprehensive knowledge of human biomechanics, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and the ability to assess and diagnose conditions affecting the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. This allows a structured plan to improve your physical performance for people of all capabilities.

Many top sports teams and athletes now use chiropractic as part of their medical care, whether this for improving sports performance, injury prevention or managing conditions.

Sports injuries have many causes – from a poor warm up, to slips, traumas and inefficient muscle. We understand the importance of identifying the cause of your injury and what is holding you back from reaching your potential.

Pain is a warning sign and should not be ignored. Receiving the appropriate treatment quickly will ensure you are at your best, minimising the risk of reoccurrence.
